DOUBLE EXPOSURE Album Release Party @ THE MINT 3/9/2014

Sunday • 3/9/2014 • 6:30pm • The Mint

I am so thrilled to announce that I will be joining LA History by performing at The Mint on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 6:30pm. The Mint has been a groundbreaking music establishment since 1937, and has helped to launch careers as well as hosted musicians like: Ben Harper, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Lady Antebellum, Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones, BB King, Justin Timberlake, Jason Mraz, Ryan Adams, and many more! (See full list HERE)

Our show in March will be the Official Album Release Party for my album, DOUBLE EXPOSURE. I'm hoping to leave a little bit of my soul on the stage that night, just like I gave so much to the album. I will be playing songs from the new album, as well as my new single, "SO MUCH," that was just released in promotion with the album. You can download the single for free on SoundCloud HERE

A lot of my music has been inspired by love, spirituality and the challenges we all face in our lives. I choose to face life in a raw and straightforward way, and I hope this comes through in my music and inspires others to feel like they can relate, be empowered, or realize the love in their lives, as well.

It's hard to pinpoint my style, but my music is peppered with rock influences, gospel, soul, blues and folk music. I hope to uplift with some songs, while lament in others. The song "Long Day," is a paired down acoustic ode from the voice of my father, who is suffering from Alzheimer's. I find a release in my music that makes it very human.

Please join me on this special night, to celebrate, groove, and tap your toe. Hard copies of the album will be available, and the first ten people will receive a free copy. We'll have T-Shirts for sale, and we'll also be giving away a limited edition art poster (see above), designed by SLICK Creative, at the event if you sign-up for the newsletter. In the meantime, be sure to check out the music on Spotify and I'll look forward to seeing everyone March 9, at 6:30pm!

New Album Launch : DOUBLE EXPOSURE

I'm so happy to be launching my new album, DOUBLE EXPOSURE, this month. It has truly been a labor of love, as love, passion and the human experience are major themes throughout. My wife and my father inspired a lot of the music. The title, DOUBLE EXPOSURE, stems from a duality of experiences where I am watching my father draw closer to the end of life through Alzheimer's, yet, a new love has blossomed in my relationship with my beautiful wife. I love music that speaks to visceral, human experiences and I bring my life's passions into the tracks on this album. I am so blessed to have worked with such talented musicians on this album. I can't thank producer, Rich McCulley, enough for all of his help with this album and a special thanks goes out to all of the talented musicians I worked with, who are credited here. I hope you enjoy listening to the album as much as I enjoyed created it. I aim to inspire and hope that my songs will relate to other's experiences, as well.

If you'd like to know more about the album, be sure to visit my website, and you can also enjoy this video for a sneak peak behind the music.
